maybe is an independent student project. This page explains what happens to your email address if you join the waiting list. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The data controller is the individual operating maybe, contactable at YOUR_EMAIL_HERE.
Your email address, and nothing else. No name, no course, no year group, no location, no tracking cookies, no advertising identifiers. If you choose to answer the optional question about features, that answer is stored alongside your email.
Your address is used for one purpose: to email you when maybe opens, and to answer you if you write in. The lawful basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Submissions go to Google Forms and are stored in Google Sheets. Google acts as a processor and may store data outside the UK under its standard contractual clauses. No one else has access to the list, and it is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
Until maybe launches and the announcement email has been sent, or until you ask for removal, whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted.
You can ask to see your data, correct it, or have it erased, and you can object to its use. Email YOUR_EMAIL_HERE and it will be actioned within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
